Dead Like Me
So today I finally watched Dead Like Me: Life After Death.
First thing’s first, and I don’t actually think I’ve said this before:
THANK YOU MGM – THE CAST / CREW and anyone else involved in the making of the show. Thanks for the movie!
Why did they make a movie about a show after been ‘dead’ for 5 years? – It has to be for the fans. They knew we wanted more, and they provided it.
Now, I’m not going to write a review – the reviews in the FORUM are MUCH better then I could ever do, and I agree with all of them in one way or another.
What I would like to talk about is the chances of the movie leading onto another series…
When Dead Like Me ended all that time ago – I was really upset, I couldn’t believe such a great show was gone. You think its going to go on for years, and then “BANG” it’s cancelled. First you’re mad – you try to fight it, but over time, you accepted it was gone.
When you watch a movie – you know it’s a one off. You don’t expect the credits to roll, and then a series to be produced on what happens after that. You know it’s over with. – Though, Some movies are left open for a sequel…
Should we just be happy with the movie – it was amazing really that it was made so long after the series ended. Should the fans expect more, or be grateful for what they got.
