Although some of you will know these facts, I thought I would just answer a few of the emails I’ve been getting in one post:
Ellen Muth – YES, Ellen Muth will be playing Georgia “George” Lass. 
Narration – Ellen Muth the star of Dead Like Me, will be doing the “voice over” / narrating that everyone loves in the upcoming Dead Like Me Film. – This is 100% definitely confirmed. It’s in the “Dead Like Me Movie Trailer”, it’s been confirmed by Ellen herself at a press / fan conference. (We’d love to post a link to an official source if anyone has one)
Characters – Almost all of the original cast are back. Yes – even Delores “her big brown eyes” Herbig (Christine Willes) and everyone favourite ex Special Forces agent Crystal Smith (Crystal Dahl). Two significant changes are Rube Sofer (Mandy Patinkin) and Daisy Adair (Laura Harris), who will not be in the film.
New Characters – Goodbye Rube. Goodbye Daisy. — Hello Cameron (Henry Ian Cusick) and err, Hello Daisy (Sarah Wynter). There is also an unconfirmed character called Hudson who will be Reggie’s boyfriend.
The Film – the film will be a Direct to DVD release. i.e not in the cinema.
The Story – I will update “The Movie” tab as soon as possible – to give a better idea what the films storyline.
Possible New Series – Rumour has it, that if the sale of the DVDs are good – the show could go back to series. If you ever needed a reason to buy a DVD instead of just downloading it from the internet – this is it.

Claudia — the original date was May 2008 — but it has been put back to “Summer”. That’s the best we have right now
As soon as I find out (or anyone else finds out, and lets me know) I’ll post it on the site.
Black_appleuk — At first, I thought a UK release would be a certainty, but I hadn’t really thought about it. After thinking about it, I’m only 70% sure. Usually DVD’s are released in the states, then, a few months later, they get over here. If the Dead Like Me Movie doesn’t do very well for some reason, would they bother with a UK distribution? I’m going to email MGM and see! If they reply, i’ll post it on here.

The way I figure it, MGM needs to cross advertise the movie, especially in places where DLM may not have been seen before, such as broadcast tv. That’s what I watch and am a recent devout DLM fan only because I caught a syndicated episode and did my research after seeing it.

I just heard about the movie a couple of days ago. I’m so excited about the possibility of another series that when the movie comes out on dvd I think I will buy multiple copies.

I love waffles has the right idea, and besides, the movie makes a great gift! The more we buy, the greater the chance of the series returning!! Pass the word. Most of the people I talk to have never heard of DLM and then I proceed to enlighten them of its numerous merits.

I love all the newest ones that are out now. If you go back a few years then I think the whole industry was in the doldrums. I think now they have really upped their game to keep us more interested. I cant wait for some of the big blockbusters this summer.
