		<description>Actually, the writer&#039;s strike could very well end up helping DLM return to television.  Most of the networks are currently or will soon be dissolving deals for development of new shows, meaning there will be no pilots for the networks to preview for possible new series next year.

This means that shows that have already been developed (possibly even shows which have been cancelled) stand a much more likely chance of being asked to create new episodes once the strike is over.

Obviously, if the writer&#039;s strike continues through the summer, there won&#039;t be any new scripted programs on the air next fall, but hopefully the studios and the writers will have fixed this all by the spring...</description>
