Dead Like Me Release Date
I wasn’t going to post this – but if I didn’t, when the date comes, I would be saying; “I was told this was going to be the release date months ago!” – But no one would believe me. 
Here we go…
I just received an email from a claimed “insider” that the Dead Like Me Movie will be released on the July 22nd 2008. The guy (girl?) claims that the final effects are now almost complete, the DVD design is complete, and they are releasing the DVD a day before comic-con – to promote, sell DVD’s and get more buzz.
How true is this? Who can say?
If you listened to the great podcast posted over at http://justpushplayonline.com/?p=307 you will hear Ellen say that the movie will be released in July. So the “Insider” is right there – but they could have just made a day up after listening to that.
I’ve search all over trying to confirm the email – there is nothing on any of the official sites, or the usual: Wikipedia, Dead Like Me online, etc.
So will July 22nd be “Day of the Dead”???
We’ll see – but if it is – you heard it here first! (If it isn’t, just pretend I said nothing)
Can anyone backup (or dismiss) this “news”??? Post in the comments, don’t email, let’s keep it in the open…

Helles yes. I just bought and watch the whole series in two weekends and am so glad its coming back. This actually has already happened to me with three other series I liked(Futurama, Family Guy and Firefly and all of them were already canceled by the time I first watched them).

I just hope it is a good movie
cause I would hate a low quality movie
I just want the normal Dead Like Me standard “good watch”
and I hope this is true
cause I’ve just finished watching the second season
and I want MORE

I don’t remember if I heard it or read it, but if enough dvd’s are sold … a network may pick up the series again … I really hope it does well!!!
