Do Networks Cancel Too Early?
Yes. Here’s a quote regarding Dead Like Me and a link to the complete article.
The Showtime original series, Dead Like Me was canceled at the end of season two, and though they did go on to make a coinciding film, the potential for further seasons was abundant. Featuring a cast of “reapers” who take on the job of making sure the dead are collected in a timely manner, the series could have gone on for years, dealing with the living and their struggle when it comes to facing death.

Way to early. I just found this show this year. I sat down and watched both seasons this weekend and it just left me wanting more. I am going to try to watch the movie this weekend but I don’t know. I took a quick peek and saw that Rube was gone and that the guy that played Desmond on LOST is on there so I don’t know. But the concept of the show is great. How can we get MGM to pick up this show again? Why is this the first I have ever heard of this great show? Why do network cancel so early on shows that they never really advertise?
