Let the stats begin…
4 Days To Go!
4 Days to go until the official release date of the Dead Like Me Movie. A Lot of people have now seen the movie, and we did get a few good reviews yesterday about the film.
It is now possible to see how the movie is being taken by the public — thanks to the many sites out there that give stats.
-
Ok, first — this site… 44% more visitors then last month. Thats Good. +1
-
IMDB is reporting the movie as 6.9/10. Thats also Good. (IMDB Dead Like Me Page: careful! Lots of spoilers on there) +1
-
MGM have now given Dead Like Me: Life After Death a page. About Time! +1
-
Amazon are reporting that the film is the 21st best selling DVD in the Movies & TV section. (On a site that that big, 21st isnt bad! It’s ranked No.1 for “Made-for-TV Movies”) +1
Once the film is officially released, there will be some real stats to find on the net. I’m really waiting for the Rotten Tomatoes rank.
At the end of the day — stats mean nothing. You like the film, you don’t. But i’ll continue posting them.

So, i’d hate to admit it but once i found out that you could see the movie online i searched and finally found it…and watched it. Personally, i was a bit dissastisfied with the movie. However, i do remember hearing that if it does well that it could either turn into another season or a few more movies. At first i thought that the movie was a slap in the face to theamazing series. But then i thought…If the dvd sales go well, then maybe there could be more movies and by god there is vast room for improvement. So improvement and more movies sound good to me
So even if you didn’t like it that much or at all, buy it and hopefully there will be more movies for us to be critical about..And maybe someday we will be happy again with the series that we once fell in love with 5 years ago….Support it and buy the dvd

I’m watching the Sci Fi DLM marathon right now and have noticed that there are scenes which do not appear in the DVD versions. Unless I’m mistaken – Anyone?

I had no idea about the dvd movie release (good marketing job showtime and mgm) and I was completely shocked to find the series+movie on the shelf. Snapped it up last sunday, best $50 I’ve spent this year. This and Wonderfalls were probably the 2 best shows on TV so of course they were cancelled for cr@p reality shows. Hope whoever keeps greenlighting the garbage shows strokes out soon.
Britt Mckillip is freaking HAWT now, wow.
