Can you believe it… In Just 1 Month we will all be watching Dead Like Me: Life After Death.
As I’ve said before, the official release date is 17th of February
There are reports that some lucky people have already seen the movie – and reports are they like it! (I won’t post any reviews on here as almost anything could be seen as a spoiler. )
I’m also a bit jealous of you Canadian Dead Like Me fans who have been able to watch the series in glorious Hi-Definition for FREE on SuperChannel.
P.S You’ve waited five years to see this film!!!
Also… PLEASE do not try to download an early release from torrents or p2p. If you want any chance at all of a new series (no guarantees): pay to watch it on the 2/17/2009. Let them see the numbers from people buying the dvds…

Yes! I’m thrilled. I had kinda given up on the movie ever coming out due to the several delays.
Only to have come online today to see this great news! I can’t wait to buy it!!!!

No problem. I’ve been a big fan of this site since about 3 months after it was open. . . Closest thing to accurate you can have as far as DLM info is on here (without the crappy navigation problems or the having the sign up thing).

The question I’ve been asking for months…will it get a UK (R2) release, and if so, will it be anytime soon? I want to support the cause so much, but not easy when we don’t have it over here.

I believe that unless it gets a big enough sale, they won’t be. But that’s just a guess based on previous MGM movie/dvd sales.

just watched it on mega video, it is really good it doesnt really cut anything off just pushes it for more
read this after its a spoiler kind of but i never really thought about it
She’s the one who tells the others who to reap and when
youll figure it out really good, definitely gonna buy when it comes out it is really that good and for special features of course

I also watched it and I actually didn’t think it wast that great, things in the movie weren’t finished and they could have done better with the rube situation. I can’t say much more cause i’ll spoil some things.
But even though I thought the movie wasn’t “good” It was still fun watching with seeing (all) the characters again . And I kinda had that same feeling that I had watching the series
But if you watch this movie when you never seen the series it would probably suck.

which seems to have English audio etc. Quite why MGM can’t release this in the UK too, I don’t know (unless they plan to…)
